Human Resources (HR) Manager

Compensation: $75 to $85 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead people operations for a construction-focused organization in Stallings, North Carolina. This role oversees core HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and workforce support. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of employment practices, a practical approach to resolving workplace issues, and the ability to build efficient HR processes that support both field and office teams.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily human resources operations, ensuring consistent administration of policies, records, and employee support programs.

• Guide employee relations matters by addressing concerns, conducting workplace investigations, and recommending fair, compliant resolutions.

• Administer benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for enrollment, eligibility questions, and issue resolution.

• Manage onboarding activities to create a smooth and organized experience for new hires from pre-employment through orientation.

• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate reports that support workforce planning, attendance tracking, and organizational decision-making.

• Coordinate workers’ compensation cases, including documentation, communication, and follow-up on claims and return-to-work matters.

• Monitor compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and industry-related labor requirements to reduce organizational risk.

• Partner with leadership on recruiting strategies, including diversity-focused hiring efforts and talent needs across operational teams.

• Support time and attendance processes while helping improve workforce utilization and overall personnel efficiency.


Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in human resources management, including employee relations, administration, and compliance responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of benefits administration, onboarding practices, and HR information systems.
• Understanding of workers’ compensation processes and employment law requirements.
• Experience supporting timekeeping, attendance, or workforce management programs.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Background in the construction industry or experience supporting a contractor-based workforce is preferred.

Compensation

$75,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
