UT-SCM-13003-Buyer Associate-MST
Responsibilities:
• Process purchase orders and monitor order status to help ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Maintain accurate procurement and shipping documentation, including receipts, supplier records, and related transaction details.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve order issues, clarify specifications, and support timely delivery.
• Assist with supply chain and warehouse activities such as material tracking, racking coordination, and receipt verification.
• Support buying operations by preparing quotations, updating financial notes, and documenting agreement-related information.
• Use SAP R/3 and other business systems to enter data, review purchasing activity, and maintain operational accuracy.
• Contribute to team effectiveness by supporting training needs, following established procedures, and promoting smooth daily operations.
• Help ensure work is completed in alignment with applicable company policies and regulatory expectations, including FAA-related requirements where applicable.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting purchasing, logistics, or supply chain activities in an administrative or operations-focused role.• Working knowledge of purchase order processing, shipping coordination, receiving practices, and supplier communication.
• Ability to create and maintain clear documentation with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP R/3 or similar enterprise systems used for procurement and inventory-related transactions.
• Strong computer proficiency and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of buying processes, quotations, specifications, and basic financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured environment and participate in required training and compliance processes.
• A background in regulated or aviation-related environments is a plus; successful completion of candidate screening requirements may be required.
Compensation
