Accounts Receivable Analyst
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a team in Mooresville, North Carolina on a Long-term Contract basis. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced accounting environment, enjoys working with customers, and can manage a large volume of daily invoice activity with accuracy. The role will focus on core accounts receivable operations while also supporting reconciliations, month-end activities, and select accounts payable tasks. SAP and excel experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of customer invoices each day while maintaining strong attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate with customers to address billing questions, clarify account details, and support smooth payment activity.
• Apply cash receipts and record accounts receivable transactions accurately within the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries related to accounts receivable and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
• Perform account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and keep financial records current.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including support for updated processes introduced by the corporate accounting team.
• Provide reporting support by compiling accounts receivable data and helping organize financial information for review.
• Contribute to accounts payable tasks as needed to support the broader accounting function.
• Work within manual and system-based processes to maintain accurate billing and cash activity records.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting function.• Hands-on experience with invoice processing, billing, cash applications, and cash activity.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactional work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures, reconciliations, and accounts receivable journal entries.
• Experience using SAP, Chempax, or similar accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas for analysis and reconciliation work.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
Compensation
