Legal Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, revise, and organize commercial real estate contracts and related legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Update existing agreements and supporting files based on attorney direction while maintaining version control and proper documentation.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, sorting incoming mail, and maintaining orderly legal records.
• Enter and manage case, client, and document information in internal records and tracking systems.
• Coordinate schedules, appointments, and other calendar-related needs to help keep daily operations on track.
• Assist with office coverage during the transition of the current support team member and participate in cross-training to ensure continuity of work.
• Support attorneys with routine legal and clerical duties connected to commercial real estate matters.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in a legal support role, preferably within commercial real estate or contract-focused practice areas.• Working knowledge of commercial contracts and the ability to review and update legal documents carefully.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage data entry, document handling, and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with calendar coordination and general office support responsibilities.
• Must hold an active Georgia notary commission or be willing to obtain notary status promptly.
• Ability to work part-time on a flexible schedule, typically two to three days per week.
• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism in a legal office setting.
