Compensation: $100 to $160 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to support a prominent plaintiff personal injury practice in Houston, Texas. This role is suited for a detail-oriented individual who can confidently manage pre-litigation matters, keep complex files moving efficiently, and provide dependable support in a fast-paced legal environment. The position offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership on significant injury cases while contributing to strong client service and case progress.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee plaintiff personal injury files from initial intake through pre-litigation resolution, ensuring deadlines, documentation, and next steps remain on track.
• Prepare a wide range of legal correspondence, case summaries, demand materials, and other documents needed to advance claims effectively.
• Perform legal and factual research to support case evaluation, evidence development, and attorney decision-making.
• Maintain organized case records by gathering, reviewing, and updating medical files, treatment records, and other supporting materials.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of legal filings while ensuring all case information is accurate, complete, and properly stored.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, insurers, healthcare providers, and outside parties, providing timely updates and requesting necessary information.
• Deliver high-level administrative and case support to senior attorney leadership by managing schedules, priorities, and pressing follow-up items.
• Anticipate urgent needs and respond quickly on sensitive matters to help keep a busy practice operating efficiently.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of paralegal experience, with substantial hands-on work in plaintiff personal injury matters.
• Strong background managing pre-litigation injury cases from opening through settlement preparation.
• Ability to draft legal documents, prepare case-related correspondence, and assist with filings and supporting materials.
• Experience conducting legal research and organizing information for case development and attorney review.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Effective communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
• Certified Paralegal designation is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to building a long-term career within a stable and high-performing law firm.

Compensation

$100,000.00-$160,000.00 Yearly
