Supply Chain Analyst
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support planning, purchasing, and material flow for aerospace and defense manufacturing programs in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This position plays an important role in keeping production on track by coordinating supply needs, evaluating data trends, and working closely with suppliers and internal teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, procurement knowledge, and an understanding of regulated manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
• Manage material planning and purchasing activities to help maintain consistent supply for manufacturing operations.
• Review inventory levels, open demand, and scheduling priorities to address shortages and prevent production delays.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
• Coordinate supplier sourcing, oversee purchase order activity, and follow up on urgent material needs to support delivery commitments.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain execution with program requirements.
• Support adherence to applicable government and industry procurement standards within aerospace and defense programs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify risks that could affect cost, quality, or on-time delivery.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts that strengthen planning accuracy, material availability, and overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or purchasing roles.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or comparable systems.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• Knowledge of government procurement and compliance requirements commonly used in aerospace and defense is highly valued.
• Certification in supply chain or purchasing is a plus.
• Must meet U.S. person eligibility requirements where applicable to program needs.
Compensation
