HR Coordinator
Seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced hospital environment. This individual will assist with onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HRIS maintenance, recruitment coordination, and personnel administration while delivering exceptional service to employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the new hire process, including onboarding, orientation, background checks, and pre-employment documentation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance with federal, state, hospital, and accreditation requirements.
- Process employee status changes, new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations within the HRIS.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer coordination.
- Track licenses, certifications, health clearances, and mandatory training requirements.
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, leave of absence, and HR procedures.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and leave management.
- Generate HR reports and maintain confidential employee records.
- Assist with audits, regulatory compliance, and special HR projects.
- Partner with managers and department leaders to support day-to-day HR operations.
Qualifications:
2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Lawson, UKG/Kronos, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of California labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Compensation
