Bilingual Medical Receptionist

Robert Half is working with a respected healthcare provider in Escondido seeking a compassionate and professional Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join its growing team.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, creating positive patient experiences, and serving as the welcoming face of a busy medical office. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, highly organized, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

You will play a critical role in ensuring patients feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in both English and Spanish
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient information and insurance details
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Collect copays and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient scheduling needs
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Manage referrals, authorizations, and medical documentation
• Update patient records within electronic medical records systems
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Previous medical receptionist or healthcare administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Professional and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
