Staff Accountant | Real Estate Development | Oakland

Responsibilities
- Process and code vendor invoices across multiple entities and projects
- Manage the AP process, vendor relationships, and payment activities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
- Support month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Assist with consolidations, audits, tax requests, and compliance reporting
- Partner with accounting, operations, and project teams to improve processes and maintain strong financial controls

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger accounting
- Experience in real estate, construction, or another project-based industry preferred
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment
- Yardi or similar ERP experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
