Staff Accountant | Real Estate Firm| San Francisco
Join a fast-growing real estate investment and development firm with a national footprint and a pipeline of large-scale, high-impact projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an accomplished leadership team while gaining broad exposure across general ledger accounting, construction accounting, accounts payable, and operational finance.

Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and support month-end close
- Support construction accounting, including job costs, budgets, draw packages, and project reporting
- Process and reconcile accounts payable, vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments
- Partner with project managers to ensure accurate project accounting
- Maintain general ledger records and financial reports
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives
- Assist with intercompany billings, reporting, audits, and special projects

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable
- Construction accounting or job cost accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Yardi preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in Excel with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
