Human Resources (HR) Manager
Responsibilities:
• Direct recruitment efforts from sourcing through offer stage, while managing onboarding and key employee lifecycle milestones.
• Advise leaders on workplace matters, including performance concerns, employee relations issues, and sensitive staff situations.
• Create, refine, and uphold human resources policies and procedures that align with organizational needs and employment standards.
• Monitor adherence to federal, state, and local labor requirements and help maintain compliant HR practices across the organization.
• Oversee administrative processes related to leave requests, workers’ compensation matters, pre-employment screenings, and verification requests.
• Maintain organized and accurate personnel files, HR records, and supporting documentation with a high level of confidentiality.
• Coordinate training programs that strengthen workplace awareness, including compliance-focused and harassment prevention education.
• Contribute to staffing and retention efforts by supporting workforce planning and initiatives that improve employee engagement and continuity.
• Act as a dependable resource to leadership by offering practical guidance on HR priorities, people strategies, and organizational matters.
Qualifications:
• At least five years of progressive experience in human resources, including time spent in a leadership or decision-making capacity.• Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and employment law.
• Background working effectively as the primary HR contact or within a lean human resources team.
• Strong ability to build trust and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
• Excellent organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong discretion and a consistent ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with HR administration, onboarding processes, benefits functions, and HR information systems is valued.
Compensation
$80,000.00-$85,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
