Litigation Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit legal documents through electronic filing systems while ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules.
• Support trust administration and probate matters by drafting materials, tracking filings, and coordinating with court personnel and county offices.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation so records remain current, accessible, and complete.
• Manage calendars and scheduling needs, including coordinating dates with attorneys, court contacts, and opposing counsel.
• Provide day-to-day litigation support to one associate and one partner, helping keep matters moving efficiently.
• Assist with onsite cross-training at the beginning of the assignment and transition to remote support as needed during the engagement.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of paralegal experience in a litigation environment.
• Working knowledge of legal terminology, court practices, and procedural requirements.
• Hands-on experience with electronic court filing systems.
• Familiarity with probate matters and trust administration is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for document preparation, communication, and file organization.
• Strong file management and calendaring skills with careful attention to deadlines and detail.
• Paralegal certification is not required for this position.
Compensation
