Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a team in Richland Hills, Texas on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who can partner closely with management, strengthen financial accuracy, and support a complex operating environment. The position calls for deep expertise in controllership, manufacturing finance, and NetSuite, along with the ability to improve processes while maintaining reliable reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across the organization.
• Partner with leadership to support the accounting integration of acquired entities into the existing NetSuite environment.
• Review and validate financial results, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities to maintain reporting integrity.
• Oversee general ledger operations, including alignment of account structures and chart of accounts consistency.
• Apply manufacturing accounting knowledge to inventory, costing, and related financial processes.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement practical improvements that enhance efficiency and control within the accounting function.
• Provide hands-on guidance during implementation-related accounting activities to support a smooth transition and dependable outputs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience serving in a Controller or comparable senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong background working with NetSuite implementations, integrations, or system optimization initiatives.
• Solid expertise in general ledger management and chart of accounts design or maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting, including inventory accounting, costing, and month-end close.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and validate financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment and collaborating directly with executive or operational leadership.

Compensation

$71.25-$82.50 Hourly
