IT Security Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Assess IT general controls across business applications and technology processes to identify gaps, risks, and areas requiring improvement.
• Review and strengthen practices related to user access, privileged accounts, change control, and segregation of duties to support a well-governed environment.
• Create, refine, and maintain clear control narratives, process records, and supporting documentation for in-scope systems.
• Coordinate with business leaders, technical teams, and control owners to plan corrective actions and keep remediation efforts moving forward.
• Conduct control testing and risk evaluations, then translate findings into practical recommendations for stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions and working sessions with cross-functional partners to resolve control issues and align on compliance priorities.
• Support governance activities across multiple platforms, including enterprise applications and recently introduced manufacturing-related systems.
• Track progress against changing compliance timelines and help ensure required control activities are completed on schedule.
Qualifications:
• Background in IT security, IT audit, IT risk, compliance, or governance with solid knowledge of IT general controls.• Hands-on experience with access administration, privileged access oversight, change management, segregation of duties, and control documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to uncover control weaknesses, perform assessments, and lead remediation efforts in complex environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working directly with business and technology partners.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, cyber governance, data privacy, database security, and protection of business information.
• Ability to work independently, lead meetings, and manage priorities effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
Compensation
