Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in Oklahoma. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is well suited for someone who values accuracy, works well in a busy transport environment, and takes pride in keeping materials organized and accounted for. In this onsite role, you will help manage incoming deliveries, maintain inventory records, and ensure products are routed correctly for storage or internal use.

Responsibilities:
• Process inbound deliveries by checking shipment contents, inspecting condition, and confirming items match supporting documents.
• Compare packing documentation with purchase orders and promptly escalate shortages, damage, or other receiving issues.
• Record shipment and inventory details accurately in company systems to maintain up-to-date warehouse information.
• Sort, label, and stage materials so they can be stored efficiently or moved to the appropriate internal area.
• Keep the receiving dock and warehouse spaces orderly, clean, and ready for daily operations.
• Coordinate professionally with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments to support smooth product flow.
• Support cycle counts and other inventory verification activities to improve stock accuracy.
• Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures while handling materials and operating in the warehouse.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse support, or inventory-related work is preferred.
• Ability to maintain strong accuracy when tracking inventory and entering data.
• Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with data entry and inventory record updates.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-moving, team-based environment.
• Clear communication skills and a dependable work ethic are required.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• All candidates are required to undergo screening.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work fully onsite in OKC, Oklahoma are required.

Compensation

$13.30-$14.00 Hourly
