Commercial Roofing Sales Representative
We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to expand our clients commercial roofing business in Mesa, Arizona. This role focuses on building strong client partnerships, uncovering project opportunities, and guiding customers toward practical roofing solutions that fit their operational needs. The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, solid industry knowledge, and the ability to manage opportunities from initial outreach through signed agreement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop business opportunities by pursuing new leads, cultivating referral channels, and strengthening connections across the commercial market.
• Visit customer sites to evaluate roofing conditions, gather project details, and identify service or replacement needs.
• Advise clients on repair, maintenance, reroofing, and service contract options based on building requirements and budget considerations.
• Create and deliver tailored proposals, pricing packages, and agreement documents that clearly outline recommended solutions.
• Oversee the full sales process, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and finalized contracts.
• Build lasting relationships with property managers, facility leaders, building owners, and general contractors to support repeat business.
• Partner with project and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed work to project execution.
• Keep opportunity updates, client interactions, and revenue forecasts organized within company sales tracking systems.
• Monitor pipeline activity consistently and drive progress toward monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Represent the company at industry gatherings and association events to increase visibility and generate new business connections.
Qualifications:
• Background in commercial roofing sales, with foam roofing knowledge strongly preferred.• Demonstrated success selling business-to-business services within commercial construction, building services, or a closely related field.
• Ability to establish credibility and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and contractors.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to clients.
• Effective organizational and time management skills for handling multiple opportunities and priorities at once.
• Experience managing accounts, supporting customer retention, and maintaining an active sales pipeline.
• Working knowledge of roofing repairs, preventive maintenance programs, service agreements, and reroofing projects.
• Familiarity with reading plans, specifications, bid documents, estimating workflows, or responding to RFPs is preferred.
Compensation
