Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the intake process for new personal injury and probate matters, ensuring clients are properly onboarded and files are opened accurately.
• Review potential new matters for conflicts and document findings before work begins on a case.
• Prepare opening case documents, including petitions and other standard filings, by adapting approved templates to case-specific facts.
• Create legal correspondence such as representation notices and evidence preservation letters for new claims.
• Assist with probate-related administrative work and support case progression as needed.
• Maintain case records, documents, and workflow updates within Clio and Clio Manage to keep files current and organized.
• Complete document handling tasks in Adobe, including Bates labeling and redaction of sensitive information.
• Monitor file activity independently, prioritize next steps, and help move matters forward without close day-to-day oversight.
Qualifications:
• Prior paralegal experience supporting pre-litigation personal injury matters is required.
• Exposure to probate or estate administration work is preferred.
• Familiarity with Nevada Laws required
• Demonstrated experience with client intake, matter setup, and onboarding procedures.
• Working knowledge of Clio and Clio Manage for case tracking and document management.
• Strong legal drafting ability, including editing template-based documents to reflect case details accurately.
• Experience using Adobe for Bates stamping and document redaction.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
• Highly organized, with a proactive approach to maintaining momentum across active matters.
Compensation
