Logistics Manager
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily logistics activities across purchasing support, storage, transportation, and order fulfillment to maintain reliable operations.
• Design and strengthen transportation and distribution networks that improve delivery performance and support consistent product flow.
• Evaluate logistics costs, margins, and operational trends to identify savings opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.
• Establish and refine inventory and warehouse practices that improve accuracy, space utilization, and service levels.
• Partner with suppliers, carriers, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and promote effective supply chain coordination.
• Monitor shipping and distribution performance metrics and implement improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure logistics activities meet applicable legal standards, regulatory obligations, and company policy requirements.
• Build productive relationships with vendors and service providers to support dependable service, competitive pricing, and long-term collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Experience managing logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing, paper, or packaging environment.• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, warehousing, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to analyze logistics performance and profitability data to recommend practical, cost-effective improvements.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements, operational standards, and risk management within logistics functions.
• Proven skill in coordinating multiple stakeholders and maintaining smooth day-to-day supply chain execution.
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities when working with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in logistics processes and continuous improvement methods that enhance service and operational efficiency.
Compensation
