Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome students, visitors, and staff at the front desk and ensure each guest is assisted promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate check-ins for scheduled meetings and notify executives or office personnel when their guests arrive.
• Answer inbound telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual.
• Provide clear directions and guidance to visitors so they can reach the correct office or contact person.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and support smooth day-to-day front office operations.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks such as scheduling support, message taking, and document handling.
• Use Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams to support communication, recordkeeping, and general office needs.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.• Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous, approachable, and service-oriented manner.
• Ability to manage multiple requests at once while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
• Clear verbal communication skills and courteous phone etiquette when handling inbound calls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including common office applications, and familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
• Comfortable directing visitors and callers appropriately in a busy office environment.
• Dependable work habits and the ability to represent the Student Affairs Business Office effectively.
Compensation
