Financial Analyst

Robert Half is currently representing one of San Diego's fastest-growing organizations seeking a Financial Analyst who wants to move beyond reporting and become a true business partner. Our client is experiencing significant growth and needs a finance professional who can provide leadership with actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and meaningful financial analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and play a key part in shaping business decisions.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, uncovering opportunities within data, and building strong partnerships across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial models
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Analyze revenue and profitability trends
• Conduct variance analysis and present findings
• Evaluate operational performance metrics
• Support strategic planning initiatives
• Develop executive-level reporting packages
• Assist with business case development for new initiatives
• Monitor KPI performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and growth initiatives when applicable

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of financial analysis experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
• Strong business acumen
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to influence decision-makers through analysis
