Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Analyze financial statements and investigate variances.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare internal financial reports and support management reporting needs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Review fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing efficiencies.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
