Accounting Manager
Robert Half is partnering with a thriving San Diego organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and lead a talented team through the next phase of growth. This opportunity is perfect for an accounting professional who loves mentoring staff, improving processes, and influencing company-wide financial strategy. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while helping leadership make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Manage and develop accounting staff
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Establish and maintain internal controls
- Coordinate external audits
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic projects
- Oversee cash management and financial planning activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Advanced financial reporting knowledge
- ERP system expertise
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic growth environment
Compensation
