Desktop Support Technician
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for end users in a Windows-based environment. This role will focus on PC imaging, workstation setup, hardware and software troubleshooting, and Microsoft 365 support. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, technically strong, and comfortable supporting users in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support for Windows-based PCs, laptops, and related hardware
- Image, configure, and deploy new computers and rebuild existing devices as needed
- Set up and install workstations, including monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and accessories
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
- Support users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Perform user account setup, password resets, and basic access support
- Diagnose and escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, and asset inventory
- Assist with moves, adds, and changes for employee workstation setups
- Ensure systems are updated, patched, and functioning properly
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support
- Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems
- Hands-on experience with PC imaging and deployment
- Experience with workstation setup and hardware installation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and end-user support
- Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and basic networking concepts is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
