Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity | San Francisco | Hybrid
Robert Half is partnering with a leading Private Equity Investment Firm in San Francisco to identify a Senior Fund Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded investment firm.
Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day accounting for a private equity fund, including:
- Fund accounting
- Financial statement preparation
- Audit support
- Banking activities
- Compliance reporting
- Review investment valuations for accuracy and completeness.
- Record valuation and allocation entries.
- Assist with building scalable accounting processes for a growing fund platform.
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of public accounting experience auditing Private Equity or Venture Capital clients.
- Must have completed at least one busy season as an Acting Senior (or equivalent leadership responsibility).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred.
- Exposure to automation tools, data analytics, or AI is highly desirable.
