Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 lbs.; and standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Shift
Monday through Friday; 1st shift; occasional weekends and nights required.
Job Summary
The UK Healthcare Good Samaritan Materials Manager will direct and coordinate all activities within the department on a daily basis. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory and placing supply orders, pulling reservations, delivery fulfillment, receiving, case cart pulling, and reviewing outstanding orders. This position will also assist the Supply Chain Management department by collaborating with departments within UKHC to support successful distribution of products in order to support daily functions, and will provide direct supervision and effective leadership of the supply chain by developing work flows to optimize staffing and service delivery.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in healthcare supply chain management and/or operations management highly preferred. CMRP certification is required within 6 months of hire.
