| Job Summary | The Markey Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated Editorial Officer Senior to provide comprehensive editing at the levels of scientific content, clarity of writing, and grammar for grant proposals and manuscripts. A strong candidate will have experience supporting grant application preparations, working with other staff and faculty to ensure timely submission of large scale proposals. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific research background and passion for contributing their knowledge and experience to promote better scientific communication. The candidate must be willing to work with graduate students, fellows, junior faculty, and senior levels of leadership at the cancer center to develop strong grant proposals and manuscript submissions. This position will be required to have a high attention to detail, quality of work, communication, as well as organizational and planning skills. This position also requires a high level of customer service and ability to work under tight deadlines. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
