Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regulatory Specialist will assist the Senior Manager of Federal Policy and Regulatory Affairs with analyzing federal health policy, tracking federal regulations that affect family medicine, and conduct research and produce written deliverables to support external advocacy activities and internal AAFP governance needs.

Other duties as assigned.

The position will report to the Senior Manager, Federal Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to the job or thorough equivalent work experience plus a minimum of two years related work experience. Experience analyzing and tracking federal regulations with an interest in health care policy, or health care policy experience with an interest in federal government. Must possess a solid understanding of federal legislative and regulatory process. In addition, the ability to accomplish multiple priorities, and excellent analytic and writing skills are necessary.

Compensation Salary Range

$63,184.00 - $87,329.00
