We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Journeyman Plumber who enjoys a variety of work, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering exceptional service every day.
What You'll Do
As a Plumber, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial plumbing systems that keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. From water distribution and drainage systems to specialized plumbing equipment, you'll play an essential role in supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing, water, heating, and drainage systems.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install piping using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Install and repair valves, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and other plumbing equipment.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing damaged piping, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing fixtures.
- Perform pressure and leak testing to verify system integrity.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other plumbing trade equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and contract requirements.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance personnel and other skilled trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber in a commercial or institutional environment.
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License.
- Experience working in commercial service or medical research facilities is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Must possess all applicable state, federal, and contract-required licenses or certifications.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) security clearance.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting.
