Job Title

Business Transformation Manager

What does a successful Business Transformation Manager at Fiserv do?

A successful Business Transformation Manager serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing a structured problem-solving approach to ambiguous, high-priority challenges and translating strategic objectives into actionable, measurable roadmaps. Operating in highly matrixed organizations, they expertly drive alignment across diverse, cross-functional stakeholders-including Product, Technology, Sales, Operations, and Finance-by influencing teams without direct authority and proactively resolving risks, dependencies, and execution barriers. From concept through execution, they lead complex initiatives by designing scalable operating models and process improvements, facilitating executive workshops, and building leadership-ready business cases. Ultimately, they ensure long-term value realization by overseeing pilot programs through to full operationalization, establishing rigorous KPI frameworks to track business impact, and coaching junior team members to ensure quality execution at every stage.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record managing large, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across organizations without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including development of presentations for Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and executive leadership teams.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business problems into structured recommendations and execution plans.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience leveraging data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

What would be nice to have:

  • Experience at a leading consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or equivalent internal strategy/transformation organization.
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital modernization, AI initiatives, customer experience programs, or operating model redesign efforts.
  • Background in payments, fintech, merchant acquiring, financial services, software, or technology-enabled services.
  • Expertise in executive storytelling, board-level presentations, and business case development.
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to bring strategic initiatives from concept to production.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and related tools.
  • Strong problem-solving toolkit including hypothesis-based thinking, root-cause analysis, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and KPI framework development
