Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for a manufacturing organization in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role focuses on turning financial data into meaningful insights that help leaders evaluate results, control costs, and make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across reporting cycles, identifying trends, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights into business performance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and related analyses.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting revenue, expenses, profitability, and overall performance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes through financial reporting and account analysis.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate business trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.
- Provide support for internal and external audit requests as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and process improvements.
- Assist with special projects, business initiatives, and financial analysis as assigned.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
• Experience working with financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes within a business or manufacturing setting.• Knowledge of month-end close procedures, accrual-based accounting, and financial statement review.
• Ability to perform variance analysis, including cost, margin, and manufacturing-related performance comparisons.
• Familiarity with audit support activities, budget processes, and the use of accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret data, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Understanding of capital-related financial considerations and overall business performance metrics.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to lead presentations and collaborate across teams.
• Capacity to manage multiple assignments and contribute to special projects with minimal supervision.
Compensation
