Supply Chain Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Produce and review balance sheet reconciliations to help maintain accurate financial records and support month-end activities.
• Create reporting that compares business performance against budget expectations and highlights meaningful trends or variances.
• Contribute to forecasting, planning, and financial analysis efforts by turning large data sets into actionable business insights.
• Support daily finance and accounting tasks tied to supply chain operations, ensuring timely and reliable information for stakeholders.
• Build and refine Excel-based models, dashboards, and analytical reports to improve visibility into operational and financial performance.
• Use Power Query and related tools to streamline data preparation, enhance reporting speed, and reduce manual effort.
• Work across financial systems and reporting platforms, including tools such as Cognos or comparable applications, to deliver dependable analysis.
• Partner with finance and supply chain teams to identify workflow improvements, strengthen reporting processes, and expand automation opportunities.
• Perform data mining and quantitative analysis to support decision-making across supply chain, logistics, and planning activities.
• Assist with coding and automation initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability within reporting processes.
Qualifications:
• Detail-oriented experience in finance, accounting, or supply chain analysis with a strong understanding of operational and financial reporting.• Demonstrated ability to handle balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting support, variance analysis, and forecasting activities.
• Advanced Excel skills, including building complex models, managing large data sets, and creating practical reporting tools.
• Experience working with financial reporting systems such as Cognos or similar enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of Power Query for data transformation, reporting improvement, and process efficiency.
• Strong analytical background with experience in data mining, automation, and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Familiarity with coding or scripting used to support reporting automation and process enhancement.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
