Sales Administrator
Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is searching for Sales Administrator to support day-to-day sales operations and help keep customer orders, reporting, and communication running smoothly in Boise, Idaho. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams. The position plays an important part in maintaining accurate records, improving administrative processes, and providing timely updates that help the sales team and leadership make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage order entry in CRM System and oversee purchase order progress to help ensure transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and administrative records so customer, vendor, and internal updates remain clear, current, and accessible.
• Provide regular communication to customers regarding open orders, fulfillment timelines, and expected delivery dates throughout the production cycle.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather status updates, resolve order-related questions, and keep stakeholders informed of changes that may affect delivery.
• Review and maintain customer account information and vendor documentation to ensure records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Support the planning and logistics of trade shows, customer visits, exhibitions, and related promotional events.
• Prepare recurring and on-demand sales reports covering quotes, fulfillment activity, and order performance for management and the sales team.
• Monitor advertising commitments across print and digital channels, including recordkeeping and cost tracking for marketing activities.
• Research bid opportunities and assist in identifying potential markets that may support future sales growth.

Qualifications:
• Experience in sales support, sales administration, or a similar coordination-focused role.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with spreadsheets, trackers, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate progress proactively.
• Effective client communication skills with the ability to provide clear and thorough updates.
• Experience gathering, organizing, and reviewing data to support reporting or business decisions.
• Comfortable working across teams to obtain information, solve problems, and maintain workflow continuity.
• Familiarity with enterprise order management systems is preferred.
Compensation
