Sr Content Manager

Compensation: $35 to $40 Hourly

Robert Half Marketing and Creative has a client looking for a Senior Content Manager to join a services organization in Lakewood, Colorado on a contract-to-permanent basis. This position is ideal for an experienced content leader who can shape multi-channel editorial initiatives, elevate content quality, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive brand storytelling. The role combines hands-on writing and editing with strategic planning, performance analysis, and team mentorship to support high-impact programs.


Responsibilities:

• Direct content strategy and execution for large-scale or business-critical initiatives across multiple channels.

• Create, revise, and polish both short-form and long-form materials for digital, social, and web-based audiences.

• Ensure messaging aligns with brand standards, campaign objectives, and the broader creative direction of each program.

• Work closely with partners across creative, media, digital, and account teams to coordinate integrated deliverables and timelines.

• Share content recommendations, strategic rationale, and results-driven insights with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Coach entry-level content team members by offering guidance, structured feedback, and support for career development.

• Strengthen editorial operations by improving workflows, quality expectations, and content governance practices.

• Apply data, audience behavior, and performance metrics to refine content decisions and improve effectiveness.

• Use approved AI tools responsibly while maintaining accuracy, brand consistency, and editorial integrity in final deliverables.


Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience in content management, editorial leadership, digital storytelling, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated strength in writing, editing, and developing content for web, social, blog, and other digital formats.
• Strong understanding of content performance measurement, audience engagement, and search-oriented content practices.
• Ability to lead conversations confidently with clients, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven organizational and project leadership skills with the ability to manage complex priorities independently.
• Experience mentoring team members and contributing to consistent editorial standards across a content function.
• Proficiency in content development areas such as content editing, blogging, web copy, and social content creation.

Compensation

$35.00-$40.00 Hourly
