Inventory Clerk

We are looking for multiple night shift Inventory Clerks to join an onsite team in Newcastle, Maine for a Long-term Contract opportunity. Must be available Sunday-Thursday from 4PM-11PM. This position supports daily warehouse and distribution activities by organizing incoming merchandise, preparing product for store shipment, and maintaining accurate inventory flow. The role is well suited to someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be attentive to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and stage merchandise from pallets or stacked freight into the correct store-specific distribution areas.

• Apply pricing to items using allocation documents and established warehouse instructions to support accurate store delivery.

• Help load and unload trucks and vans while moving product safely throughout the facility.

• Separate and organize product according to purchase orders so items are routed correctly within the distribution process.

• Inspect freight for visible damage, missing items, or quantity discrepancies and report issues promptly.

• Use warehouse technology and standard operating procedures to locate inventory within the distribution center.

• Support general warehouse operations as needed to keep product movement timely, organized, and accurate.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with inventory tracking, warehouse support, or stock handling in a distribution or retail environment.
• Ability to perform order picking and work accurately with product counts, labels, and allocation paperwork.
• Familiarity with asset inventory practices and physical inventory processes, including cycle or annual counts.
• Comfortable working onsite and available for either day or night shift schedules, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout the shift while standing, walking, bending, and moving merchandise.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify damaged goods, shortages, and inventory inconsistencies.
• Basic comfort using handheld devices or similar technology to find, track, and manage warehouse inventory.

Compensation

$20.00-$20.00 Hourly
