Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a dependable Front Desk Coordinator to support a non-profit organization in Salem, Oregon in a Contract position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming front-office experience, assisting visitors and callers, and helping daily operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, manage the reception area, and ensure a welcoming first impression for everyone entering the office.
• Answer and direct calls through a multi-line phone system while providing courteous and efficient service.
• Provide front desk coverage during scheduled shifts and step in to support break coverage for other team members as needed.
• Handle routine administrative tasks associated with reception operations and day-to-day office support.
• Prepare bank deposits accurately and in a timely manner according to established procedures.
• Use Google-based workplace tools to manage communication, scheduling, and basic office documentation.
• Coordinate with staff to maintain smooth daily workflow and respond promptly to front-office needs
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system with accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong customer service skills and a welcoming, service-oriented approach.
• Experience handling cash-related tasks or preparing bank deposits is preferred.
• Comfort using Google Workspace or similar web-based office tools.
• Reliable availability for a part-time schedule of about five hours per day.
Compensation
