Account Receivable Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support billing, payment posting, collections, and account reconciliation activities. This role is responsible for helping ensure timely and accurate invoicing, maintaining customer account records, and assisting with the overall accounts receivable process. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
- Post customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions. Based on general knowledge.
- Monitor accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on past-due invoices. Based on general knowledge.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and investigate discrepancies. Based on general knowledge.
- Maintain accurate customer records, payment details, and billing documentation. Based on general knowledge.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment status, and account issues. Based on general knowledge.
- Assist with cash application and daily deposits as needed. Based on general knowledge.
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing AR reports and schedules. Based on general knowledge.
- Collaborate with accounting, sales, and customer service teams to resolve invoice or payment issues. Based on general knowledge.
- Help maintain compliance with company policies and internal accounting controls.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- 1+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting support experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. Based on general knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Based on general knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Based on general knowledge.
- Effective communication and customer service skills. Based on general knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Based on general knowledge.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality. Based on general knowledge.
Compensation
