Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team for our client. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, a solid understanding of accounting procedures, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy. Based on general knowledge.
- Code invoices and enter payment data into the accounting system. Based on general knowledge.
- Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Based on general knowledge.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies. Based on general knowledge.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships. Based on general knowledge.
- Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting documentation. Based on general knowledge.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting. Based on general knowledge.
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and account details. Based on general knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting support, or bookkeeping preferred. Based on general knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Based on general knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Based on general knowledge.
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Based on general knowledge.

Compensation
