HR Generalist
Dayton area company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 6-month contract assignment to support day-to-day human resources operations. This role will assist with employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and recruiting coordination while helping ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily HR operations and employee inquiries
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
- Help maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy
- Support benefits administration and performance management processes
- Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
- Prepare reports, track HR activity, and support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar human resources role preferred
- Knowledge of HR processes, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance
- Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Available to commit to the full 6-month contract assignment
