MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars, or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment, and recycle and reuse solutions. Our industrial customer base is highly diverse and includes customers in the following end markets: appliances and electronics; automotive parts; industrial parts; plumbing goods; construction equipment; and transportation equipment.

Who are we looking for?
What will you be doing?
- Identify growth opportunities: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to uncover new business prospects.
- Develop strategic partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead commercial initiatives: Drive new product introductions, market entry strategies, and pricing models in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
- Support innovation: Work closely with technical teams to translate customer challenges into product development opportunities.
- Negotiate and close deals: Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Monitor performance: Track KPIs, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction to ensure sustainable growth.
- Represent the company externally: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and solutions.

What competencies will you need?
- Business Development Expertise: Proven track record in identifying and executing growth opportunities, ideally in chemicals, materials, or industrial sectors.
- Market Intelligence: Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning.
- Commercial Acumen: Skilled in pricing strategy, value proposition development, and deal structuring.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to grasp product functionality and translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Negotiation & Influence: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals.
- Project Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Global Mindset: Comfortable working across cultures, regions, and time zones.
We are Offering...
As part of our team here, as well as receiving a competitive base salary, you will also participate in a generous performance related bonus plan. In addition, you will also receive a 401k plan with company matching, Life Insurance, and Medical Insurance as well as 9 holidays.
The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $109K and $164K.
