Chinese Language Lecturer
The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for one or more positions as lecturer in Chinese language, expected to begin September 1, 2026, or during the 2026-2027 academic year. Positions that begin September 1 are expected to extend for one academic year. While duty time and appointment length will be based on student enrollments, we expect to fill at least one full- or part-time position. Experience teaching Chinese at the college level is preferred. We seek candidates with a minimum requirement of a master's degree in disciplines such as Chinese linguistics, Chinese language pedagogy, Chinese history, Chinese literature, or related fields. Ph.D. is preferred.

This position is subject to the University’s background check policy. The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University. Term positions of one year or less are not eligible for sponsorship of an H1-B visa requiring visa consular processing.
