Responsibilities
As a Senior Land Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of land title research and non-environmental permitting, including, but not limited to, tax card research and retrieval, onsite and online title research and reporting, Chain of title and Limited Title Certificate generation, preparation of Vesting and Marketable Title files, permit requirement gathering and filing, and posting of said files according to established Project Procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Works directly with project managers, project engineers, and surveyors
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control of submitted titles
- Examine documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify factors such as properties' legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions.
- Research relevant legal materials to aid decision making.
- Evaluate information related to legal matters in public or personal records.
- Prepare reports describing any title encumbrances encountered during searching activities.
- Prepare Documents as requested.
- Read search requests to ascertain types of title evidence required and to obtain descriptions of properties and names of involved parties.
- Perform onsite and/or online research necessary for Vesting and/or Marketable Title file production.
- Prepare Chain of Title and Limited Title Certificates and assemble title files per client best practices
- Post title files according to Project Procedures
- Ensures that permits are acquired correctly and promptly
- Communicates directly with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items
- Collaborates and communicates with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
- Participates in the permit project start-up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
- Completes all necessary paperwork
- Negotiates and acquires necessary surface and/or mineral permits for crew access
- Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues arise
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 Years experience in Land Title and ROW services
- Thorough knowledge of Federal, State and other regulations regarding non-environmental permitting
- Ability to work effectively with employees, department management, contractors and consultants in a professional
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to analyze data and prepare written reports
- Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school supplemented by college level course work in applicable fields
