Position Description

This position is open to current TTUHSC employees only.

The C&M Project Manager oversees the client communication and efficiency of jobs as it relates to job trafficking, partner service and timeline management. This person is tasked with maintaining a high level of awareness and adaptability with assigned projects across single and multiple C&M teams, professional communication with key contacts and internal team dynamics and collaboration and executing detail-oriented project and job coordination. Responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, communicating updates to the Director of Strategic Projects and respective teams and directors, and maintaining a high level of awareness of all projects and their statuses. This position is a full-time position and reports to the Director of Strategic Projects.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Embody the TTUHSC shared values of kindhearted, integrity, one team, visionary and beyond service.
  • Follows all TTUS and TTUHSC Operating, IT and Safety policies, completing all trainings as required.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for cross-team and single team efforts as assigned by Director of Strategic Projects, monitoring and responding to work inquiries and documenting and communicating regular project status updates.
  • Support C&M leadership and team members to develop, monitor and communicate project timelines and deadlines in accordance with identified priorities.
  • Traffic all jobs/projects to team members or vendor partners, ensuring a smooth and transparent handoff with all stakeholders.
  • Review projects and deliverables for completeness and accuracy prior to final approval and closing out a project.
  • Lead & participate in team meetings, serving both as an active contributor and as a record keeper, in order to develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist in the definition and documentation of project scope, including objectives, timelines and assignments involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for day-to-day communication and project management with internal teams, external vendors and contracted partners for optimal project execution.
  • This position qualifies to work remotely. New employees will have a 90-day probationary period, at which time remote work will be discussed. Remote work performance will be reviewed quarterly and may be terminated at any time the arrangement is no longer in the best interest of the External Relations team and/or TTUHSC.


Occasional Duties

  • Contribute to the overall success of the University and External Relations Division by performing other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus three years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current TTUHSC employee.
  • Prior experience working in a role carrying aspects of Quality Control.
