Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-moving team in Fairfax, Virginia. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone with experience in banking support who enjoys solving issues, assisting customers, and working in an on-site environment Monday through Friday. In this role, you will handle service inquiries, review documentation, and support claim-related research while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer questions and service requests in a high-volume call center setting with professionalism and urgency.
• Review escrow- and mortgage-related information to support accurate account handling and timely follow-up.
• Research account details, documentation, and claim information to help resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Investigate insurance-related matters by gathering records, confirming details, and escalating concerns when needed.
• Use Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems to document interactions, track tasks, and maintain organized records.
• Manage multiple assignments at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to provide updates, explain next steps, and support
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in banking or customer service or a closely related financial services environment.
• Prior experience in customer service, preferably within a call center or high-volume support setting.
• Working knowledge of escrow processing, loan administration, mortgage documents, or mortgage insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and comfort using CRM platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and customers.
• Solid multitasking, research, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and general computer proficiency required.
• Insurance experience is preferred
Compensation
