Order Entry Clerk

Seeking a Data Entry Clerk in Erie, MI. This role is responsible for high volume data entry with inventory and servicing internal customers by performing job duties to help meet on-time delivery; and scheduling and prioritizing jobs based upon customer needs (both internal and external). The ideal candidate would be working M-F 8am-5pm. This position is fully ONSITE and pays up to $23/hr depending on experience. Must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• High volume data entry
• Working closely with vendors to achieve company’s quality, margin, and on-time delivery goals, and updating warehouse schedules
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize job instructions daily.
• Ability to follow written instructions on work order and SOP’s
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be computer literate.
• Data entry experience and working knowledge of how processes work.
• Knowledge of Steel business terminology is helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Invex ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with order entry, data entry, or similar transaction-based administrative work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and shift priorities throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written job instructions accurately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Solid organizational skills and comfort handling time-sensitive information.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, warehouse documentation, or manufacturing workflows is preferred.
• Knowledge of steel industry terminology or experience with Invex is helpful but not required.

Compensation

$20.00-$23.00 Hourly
