Controller
Responsibilities:
• Direct the facility’s accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely close processes, and strong internal controls.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to evaluate production costs, monitor inventory valuation, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Review financial results and investigate variances to provide clear insights and practical recommendations for operational and executive teams.
• Develop and maintain reports that support department managers and senior leadership in planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Lead process improvement efforts within finance and related functions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support information technology needs connected to financial reporting and business operations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to accounting staff while fostering accountability, teamwork, and high-quality execution.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial procedures, and applicable standards across all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a Controller or senior-level accounting role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• SAP highly preferred
• CPA or CMA highly preferred
• Proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel or similar analytical applications.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with document control, document scanning, and compiling records is beneficial.
Compensation
