Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day office support activities to keep shared workspaces orderly, functional, and well maintained.
• Monitor and track office inventory levels, helping ensure supplies are available and records remain accurate.
• Organize digital documents and assist with file management in shared storage platforms such as OneDrive.
• Provide administrative support through data entry, document preparation, and general back-office tasks.
• Answer inbound calls and greet visitors professionally while directing requests to the appropriate staff members.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to create, update, and maintain reports, logs, and office documents.
• Operate standard office equipment and assist with routine clerical duties to support team productivity.
• Adapt quickly to varying workplace procedures and follow established protocols in different office environments.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in an administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical role.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with data entry, document organization, and general administrative office practices.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, dependable time management, and a high level of energy and initiative.
• Experience supporting office supply management, inventory tracking, or related coordination tasks.
• Government experience, particularly within Washington, District of Columbia environments, is preferred.
Compensation
