Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)
Location: Phoenix, AZ area Salary: $90,000–$100,000 (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
About the Role
We're seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a healthcare organization's growing technology team. This role sits at the intersection of business process, application support, and end-user enablement — you'll be the person who helps departments actually adopt and get value from the systems they rely on every day.
You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to define requirements, optimize documentation, lead training initiatives, and support the rollout of new tools and processes. This is a highly visible role with real room to grow — the organization has a strong track record of investing in and promoting people who take initiative.
What You'll Do
- Plan, test, implement, and support software installations, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure applications meet business and user needs
- Provide hands-on technical support to end users — document creation, report generation, presentations, and general application usage
- Collaborate across departments to create, maintain, convert, and optimize business and clinical documentation
- Lead application and document conversion projects, partnering with stakeholders on objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Conduct end-user training sessions and develop supporting materials to drive adoption of new technology and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning software, hardware, and business applications
- Stay current on healthcare technology trends and recommend improvements
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, project status, and application utilization
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare IT, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in a hospital, healthcare, or clinical environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, project coordination, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and communities
Preferred:
- Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint environments
- Experience implementing, supporting, or training users on DocuSign or similar e-signature/document management tools
- Experience with Freshservice or other ITSM/ticketing platforms
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills — experience leading group trainings, software demos, or change management initiatives
- Experience creating user guides, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation
- Background supporting healthcare business or clinical applications
