ERP Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Engage with finance leaders, budget owners, and subject matter experts to clarify business goals, operational pain points, and compliance considerations.
• Gather and refine business needs through discussions, workshops, and process reviews, then turn findings into well-structured documentation.
• Create process flows, business rules, user stories, and functional definitions that describe both current operations and desired improvements.
• Recommend ways to improve planning, forecasting, cost allocation, financial close activities, and reporting by applying ERP best practices.
• Analyze financial information to support insight into budget performance, cost visibility, forecast reliability, and broader financial results.
• Convert stakeholder needs into detailed functional specifications covering system setup, enhancements, data relationships, and system interfaces.
• Partner with configuration, development, integration, and data teams to deliver coordinated solutions across the full project lifecycle.
• Support implementation activities such as testing, defect tracking, training preparation, cutover readiness, data validation, and post-launch stabilization.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA in a business analysis or functional consulting capacity.• At least 5 years of experience translating business processes into technology solutions, preferably within finance-focused environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations such as budgeting, financial management, cost accounting, or FP& A.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, major enhancements, or upgrade initiatives.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules related to finance, including FI, CO, FM, and PS.
• Familiarity with SAP Private Cloud and Integrated Business Planning is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant SAP functional or methodology certifications are preferred.
Compensation
