Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead assigned technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource plans are clearly defined and managed.
• Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and external vendors to keep technical efforts aligned with project objectives and business expectations.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and project stakeholders, highlighting progress, key decisions, dependencies, and potential delivery concerns.
• Monitor project risks and obstacles, develop practical response plans, and escalate critical issues when needed to protect timelines and outcomes.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder discussions, workflow reviews, and analysis of operational needs.
• Maintain essential project records, including plans, estimates, action logs, testing materials, training documentation, and implementation details.
• Track budgets and spending forecasts to support cost control and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
• Promote effective project governance by identifying opportunities to improve methods, documentation standards, and team coordination.
• Oversee testing, validation, and deployment activities to confirm solutions meet organizational quality and readiness expectations.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT or technical projects in a structured work environment.• Background working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or blended project delivery methodologies.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or comparable project management certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with software development, cloud platforms, networking, or enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences and communicate effectively across varied stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess project needs, determine required resources, and solve problems logically.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira to organize work and track execution.
Compensation
