Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support warehouse and transportation operations for a long-term contract opportunity in Carol Stream, Illinois. This position will focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, arranging domestic and international shipments, and helping ensure goods move efficiently across facilities and borders. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in logistics coordination, shipping processes, and customs-related activities while working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
• Support inventory control efforts within the warehouse, including cycle counts, material reconciliation, and disposition of unusable stock.
• Partner with corporate contacts and internal teams to organize freight movement, duty-related documentation, customs processing, and other transportation needs.
• Coordinate international shipping activities to help ensure timely delivery and compliance with applicable trade requirements.
• Manage transfers of materials between facilities across domestic and global locations while maintaining accurate shipment records.
• Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates, issues, and delivery timelines to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and review shipping paperwork to help reduce delays and maintain compliance with logistics procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, distribution, or transportation coordination within a warehouse or supply chain environment.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, including documentation and shipment scheduling.
• Familiarity with customs, duties, and cross-border freight coordination.
• Ability to support inventory-related tasks such as cycle counting, stock tracking, and material movement.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when managing multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external logistics partners.

Compensation

$21.00-$23.50 Hourly
